Beginners Yoga
Level 1
For students new to yoga or the B.K.S. Iyengar method, this class is a systematic introduction to the principles of alignment. Ongoing. Introduces students to the fundamental principals of posture and breath. Emphasis on standing, seated and restorative postures which build strength, stamina and flexibility.
Classes include beginning seated and forward bending postures and passive supported poses for deep relaxation.

Attire: Please wear shorts or footless tights. Be scent free.
Try not to eat less than three hours before class.

* Please register before attending class.

Level 1 classes are ongoing and can be joined at any time. You do not have to wait for the beginning of an 8-week series, as the instruction is all basic Level 1 Beginners technique. The class fee will be prorated for the balance of the classes left in the series.

Fees:
$20 one-time registration fee for new students

Ongoing Yoga
Level 1-2
Ongoing class for students who have completed at least 6 months of the Level 1 course. For those who want to refine their understanding of posture, breathing and relaxation.

Fees:
$20 one-time registration fee for new students

4-Class Card: $68 (good for 6 weeks)
8-Class card: $125 (good for 10 weeks)
Drop-in: $20

Monthly unlimited: $160

Level 2
Ongoing class that introduces the regular practice of inversions and backbends. For students with a home practice and an understanding of how to work with their individual needs.

Level 4
Ongoing class for students with a solid practice of Level 2-3 postures. Emphasis on refining the integration of mind, breath and body and the cultivation of one-pointed (ekagrata) mindfulness in the postures. If you're new to the studio, please request permission of instructor prior to class.

Prenatal Class
Yoga offers a way of developing self-reliance and calmness of mind during pregnancy. In class we will explore safe exercises that can help women adjust to the physical, mental and emotional demands of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. Class is open to all levels of yoga experience and all trimesters.

Gentle/Ambulatory Adaptive Yoga

This slower-paced class guides students through introductory standing, seated and floor postures. Extra time is spent on positions and using props to ensure a safe and peaceful approach to the asana practice. Poses are adapted to meet the needs of individual students, so everyone can practice in a restorative and supportive environment. This class is for individuals living with impaired mobility or balance due to physical disability. Other individuals who feel they may be limited from participating in a traditional yoga class are also welcome in this class. Mind Body Solutions mindbodysolutions.org subsidizes the cost of classes for students living with disabiility.

Fee:
• $48 for an 8-week session for individuals living with mobility disability
• $10 drop-in fee for all other students

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga is a physically challenging vigorous, breath based practice consisting of strong flowing movement. Open to students who have completed 6 months of Level I course or above and are injury-free and can take care of themselves independently in class. All levels welcome.

Tai Chi Sun Style

For centuries, the Chinese have recognized the beneficial effects of Tai Chi to improve health, balance, and flexibility. This program, endorsed by Arthritis Foundation Worldwide, is a series of gentle, yet powerful, easy-to-learn movements that promote effective physical and mental well-being. Great for joint pain relief and fall prevention!
Wear comfortable clothes.
